The FCRA Board of Trustees passed a resolution in their April meeting in support of the proposed Fort Smith School District millage increase--the first increase since 1987.
The Fort Chaffee Redevelopment Authority (FCRA) lended its support to the upcoming school millage vote on May 22. The FCRA board approved a resolution on Thursday (April 19) endorsing the plan from the Fort Smith Public School district.
FCRA Executive Director Ivy Owen acknowledged there was “no secret that this is happening, and it’s no secret that we support it.”

PUBLIC MEETING INVITATION
Sebastian County invites its citizens and other interested persons to a drop-in public meeting at the Chaffee Crossing Media Center located at 7801 Ellis Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas on Thursday, May 24 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. The purpose of the meeting is to identify potential outdoor park and recreation needs and priorities.
