The new intermodal port between Van Buren and Fort Smith continues to move forward with hopes of breaking ground in two years. Western Arkansas Intermodal Authority met on July 7 to learn about new updates to the project.

The School of Occupational Therapy at the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education (ACHE) has been granted candidacy status for the doctor of occupational therapy program. The status allows the school to admit students for the inaugural class that begins January 2022.
